I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We’re Looking For
Applicants must be appropriately qualified to train and assess First Aid, rather than simply holding a First Aid certificate.
You must be able to provide evidence of:

- Recognised teaching/training qualification, such as Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET) or equivalent
- Relevant First Aid trainer/assessor credentials
- Ability to deliver regulated EFAW/FAW qualifications through an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation or approved training centre
- Evidence of your current awarding organisation/centre arrangement
- Appropriate professional/public liability insurance
- Experience delivering First Aid training within workplace or corporate environments
Access to your own professional training equipment, including CPR manikins and AED training equipment, is highly desirable.
The Associate Role
As a CorpWell Associate Trainer, you will represent CorpWell when delivering training to our clients.
We’re therefore looking for trainers who are professional, reliable and confident facilitators, with the ability to make training practical, engaging and relevant to different workplace environments.
