The Hippie Shake is looking for a talented freelance graphic designer to work with us on our digital and e-commerce creative, with a particular focus on email design.
Founded in 2016, The Hippie Shake creates heirloom-worthy pieces inspired by vintage fashion, music and festival style.
As a small founder-led team with a growing global audience, we’re entering an exciting new chapter and looking for someone with a strong creative eye who can take our brand identity and translate it into beautiful, engaging customer-facing design.
The role
You’ll work closely with our team to create digital assets across the brand, with the majority of the work initially focused on designing our email marketing.
This could include:
- Designing customer-facing email campaigns and flows
- Creating graphics and layouts for product launches, collections, promotions and brand stories
- Developing email designs that feel creative and editorial while still being commercially effective
- Working within our existing brand identity while bringing fresh ideas to the table
- Creating supporting e-commerce and digital assets where needed
- Working collaboratively with our internal team on briefs, feedback and upcoming campaigns

What we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from someone who:
- Has strong graphic design experience, ideally within fashion, lifestyle or e-commerce
- Has hands-on experience designing email campaigns and flows for Klaviyo
- Has experience designing email marketing for consumer brands
- Has a great eye for typography, layout, colour and imagery
- Understands how to balance beautiful creative with clear e-commerce messaging
- Can confidently work within an established brand identity
- Is comfortable taking a brief and developing it into polished creative
- Is reliable, organised and happy working collaboratively on an ongoing freelance basis
