Midweight Designer
Freelance | Remote | UK preferred | Ongoing engagement
About the role
We’re looking for a talented Midweight Designer to support us on an ongoing freelance basis. Our core brand identity, product UI and visual language are already established.
The opportunity is to use design to make personal finances feel calmer, clearer and more human by creating a premium experience that gives couples confidence in the life they’re building together. The work should do more than look beautiful; it should help reshape people’s relationship with money, turning something that often feels stressful or transactional into something positive, reassuring and motivating.
This role is not about creating a new brand from scratch. Instead, you’ll be responsible for translating an existing identity into consistently high-quality creative across social, digital and campaign touch points.
Initially, we expect the requirement to be approximately 2–4 hours per week, with a regular flow of small briefs and the opportunity for the scope of the role to increase as the company grows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
