Freelance Graphic Designer (Packaging, Mailers & Merch)

Are you a designer who obsesses over the tactile power of print, structural form, and the art of the unboxing experience? Profiles Creative is partnering with a culturally connected, independent experiential agency in London to find an ambitious Freelance Graphic Designer. This hybrid, full-time contract role offers an exceptional platform to evolve your creative leadership, expand your portfolio with high-impact physical brand moments, and hone your craft across packaging, VIP mailers, and bespoke merchandise programmes.

Sitting at the intersection of concept, art direction, and production, you will take ownership of ideas from raw initial sketches through to final delivery. In this role, you will be challenged to push your creative boundaries, working collaboratively with experiential producers and suppliers to transform brand stories into tangible, memorable objects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative, multi-sensory concepts for branded mailers, physical packaging, and merchandise, shaping distinctive visual narratives from initial brief to delivery.
  • Produce detailed 3D visualisations and realistic mock-ups to communicate form, construction, materiality, and tactile unboxing journeys to stakeholders.
  • Prepare meticulous, production-ready artwork, die-lines, and technical print specifications with uncompromising attention to detail.
  • Partner directly with external suppliers, print vendors, and manufacturers, balancing bold creative ambition with material feasibility and production constraints.
  • Translate client brand identities into premium, culturally resonant physical touchpoints, staying ahead of emerging packaging trends, finishes, and sustainable methods.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
