Role Overview

This role is ideal for a graphic designer with a strong background in political campaign materials, specifically direct-mail design for Republican candidates. The position is fully remote, offering the opportunity to contribute to high-impact campaign communications that reach voters directly. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of political messaging, visual storytelling, and the nuances of campaign branding, ensuring all materials are both persuasive and compliant with industry standards.

Deliverables

  • Design and layout of direct-mail pieces for Republican political campaigns, including postcards, flyers, and brochures
  • Creation of compelling visual assets that align with campaign messaging and branding guidelines
  • Collaboration with campaign teams to refine concepts and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Preparation of print-ready files, ensuring accuracy in color, typography, and layout
  • Iterative revisions based on feedback from campaign stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing political direct-mail materials, preferably for Republican candidates or causes
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in campaign design, print production, and visual communication
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Excellent understanding of print specifications, color management, and file preparation for commercial printing
  • Ability to interpret campaign messaging and translate it into effective visual designs
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Availability to meet tight deadlines and respond promptly to feedback
