Freelance Growth Marketer
MyOva | 2 days per week | Remote (UK) | £250–£300 per day
About MyOva
MyOva is a UK women’s hormonal health brand, founded in 2016 out of our founder’s own PCOS diagnosis at 19 and the years that followed of being handed a label without a plan. We make supplements and botanical teas for women living with PMOS (formerly PCOS), endometriosis, PMDD, fertility / pregnancy and the perimenopause transition. We sell direct to consumer through DTC, through Amazon, and in retail with Boots.
Our customer is smart, sceptical, and has already been sold to badly. She has bought a supplement that did nothing. She does not want pink, fluffy wellness marketing or miracle claims — she wants evidence and clear explanations. Marketing that respects her intelligence is not a nice-to-have here; it is the only kind that works.
Role summary
We are looking for an experienced freelance growth marketer to own our growth strategy across every channel — and then execute it.
You will set the strategy, develop the creative concepts, produce or direct the ad creative, brief and shape our landing pages, run all of our email marketing, and build out customer retention. Two days a week, working directly with the founder.
This is a hands-on role.
We are a small team. There is no execution layer beneath this role and no agency to hand things to. If you are looking for a purely strategic or advisory engagement, this is not it — we need someone who is as comfortable building the thing as deciding what to build.
Key responsibilities
1. Growth strategy across all platforms
- Own the growth strategy across our paid and owned channels — Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon Ads, email and SMS
- Decide where budget goes, what gets tested, and in what order, based on what the numbers actually show
- Build a coherent funnel across channels, so cold traffic, retargeting and retention are working to the same plan rather than competing
- Report on CAC, ROAS, contribution margin and LTV, and adjust the plan as they move
2. Creative concepts and ad creative
- Develop creative concepts and messaging angles grounded in our customer’s real symptoms, frustrations and buying triggers
- Write the copy and build the creative briefs — hooks, scripts, formats, storyboards
- Produce the creative: ideally by working with AI creative platforms to generate and iterate at volume, and by briefing our designer where a human hand is needed
- Run a structured, documented testing cadence across concepts, formats, audiences and offers — not ad hoc launches
- Keep all claims within UK advertising and health claims rules (see “Compliance” below)
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.

Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
3. Landing pages
- Develop the concepts for landing pages and write the briefs that turn them into built pages
- Make sure the ad message and the page message match, so we are not paying for traffic that bounces
- Run a conversion testing programme — headlines, page structure, proof, offer presentation
- Work within our Shopify setup and brand guidelines
4. Email marketing
- Own all email marketing end to end, campaigns and flows
- Build and improve our Klaviyo flows — welcome, abandoned cart and browse, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back
- Plan, write and send campaign emails that balance education and revenue
- Build and refine segmentation so the right women receive the right message for their stage
- Report on list health, revenue per recipient, deliverability and flow performance
5. Customer retention
- Own retention as a metric, not an afterthought — repeat purchase rate, subscription retention, churn and LTV
- Build the post-purchase experience: onboarding, education, replenishment prompts, and reasons to stay
- Improve our subscription offer and reduce cancellations, working out why women leave and acting on it
- Design win-back and reactivation programmes for lapsed customers
- Supplements only work if they are taken consistently — retention and customer outcomes point the same way here, and we want someone who sees that
What we are looking for
Essential
- 4/5+ years in growth or performance marketing, with meaningful time in-house or embedded at a DTC/ecommerce brand
- A track record of setting growth strategy AND executing it personally — we will ask what you built with your own hands
- Hands-on ownership of paid social, particularly Meta — you have made the creative and managed the spend, not only reported on it
- Strong copywriting, with the judgement to write for a sceptical, well-informed audience
- Fluency with AI creative tools for generating and iterating ad creative at volume, or clear appetite to get there fast
- Experience writing creative and landing page briefs that designers and developers can build from without hand-holding
- Deep working knowledge of Klaviyo or a comparable ESP — flows, segmentation, deliverability
- Demonstrable retention or LTV work, ideally on a subscription or repeat-purchase product
- Comfortable with analytics and attribution — you can tell us what is genuinely working and what is noise
- Self-directed. Two days a week only works if you can set your own priorities and run with them

Desirable
- Supplements, health, wellness or another regulated category
- Familiarity with UK health claims and advertising rules (ASA/CAP, GB nutrition and health claims register)
- Experience marketing to women’s health audiences, or genuine interest in the category
- Video editing or creative production skills
- Amazon advertising experience
- Shopify theme or landing page builder experience
Compliance
Supplements are a regulated category in the UK. All marketing claims must sit within the GB nutrition and health claims register, the UK Food Supplements Regulations 2003, and ASA/CAP rules. You do not need to arrive as an expert in this — we have deep in-house regulatory experience and will brief you — but you do need to be willing to work inside those limits and treat them as a creative constraint rather than an obstacle.
