The Hair & Makeup Artist is responsible for providing exceptional hair styling and makeup services for Bloomberg Television’s on-air talent, including anchors, correspondents, guests, and contributors. Working in a fast-paced live newsroom, this role ensures all talent is consistently camera-ready for live and recorded broadcasts while maintaining Bloomberg’s polished, professional broadcast standards.


We'll Trust You To

  • Provide professional hair styling and makeup for Bloomberg Television presenters, reporters, contributors, and guests for live and recorded broadcasts.
  • Ensure on-air talent remain camera-ready by performing touch-ups before and during broadcasts.
  • Work collaboratively with production, editorial, and studio teams to support live programming and respond to changing newsroom priorities.
  • Create polished, broadcast-ready looks suitable for high-definition television across a diverse range of skin tones and hair types.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organization of all makeup products, tools, and workstations.

You'll Need To Have

  • Professional qualification in Hair and Makeup Artistry or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience working in live television, film, or studio production is highly desirable.
  • Strong makeup & hair-styling skills across a wide range of hair types and styles.
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent on-air presentation standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by live news operations.
