Our partner is looking for a Freelance HR Consultant based in United Kingdom.

This is a fully remote, hourly freelance opportunity for an experienced HR professional who can combine talent acquisition with hands-on people operations. The role supports both internal hiring needs and external staffing projects across a dynamic technology-focused environment. You will manage recruitment from sourcing through offer negotiation while also strengthening onboarding, offboarding, HR policies, and employee engagement practices. The position offers broad exposure to core HR operations, remote workforce management, and employee relations. Success requires strong judgment, discretion, organization, and the ability to operate independently. It is particularly well suited to an HR generalist who enjoys building efficient processes and supporting distributed teams.

Accountabilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for internal roles and external staffing projects, including sourcing, candidate screening, interviews, selection, and offer negotiations.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve remote-first HR policies, onboarding workflows, and offboarding processes for both freelance and full-time personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and secure employee and freelancer records, ensuring contracts, NDAs, compliance documentation, and related HR files remain current.
  • Support employee engagement and performance management initiatives through regular check-ins, workplace conflict resolution, and initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive remote culture.
  • Administer payroll inputs and leave tracking while serving as a key point of contact for HR-related questions from internal teams and freelance consultants.
  • Identify recruitment bottlenecks and operational challenges, recommend practical improvements, and help strengthen overall people processes.
  • Manage multiple HR initiatives independently while coordinating effectively with distributed stakeholders and maintaining accurate time and project tracking.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
