Job Title: Freelance Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) Care

Location: Remote

Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards in education and apprenticeships? We are seeking freelance or fixed term contract support from an experienced Care professional. We are looking for someone with a strong background in care, who is confident in giving feedback to support us as dedicated and detail-oriented Internal Quality Assurers. This opportunity is integral to a new project we are working on to evolve our marking capability with the use of AI.

If you are looking for some additional work, or a fixed term opportunity where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of qualifications across Adult Health and Social Care, then look no further. As Paragon Skills has a great freelance or short term contract opportunity to support the role to support the testing of our new AI tool for marking and sampling.

In this role you will:

  • You will be required to use your own knowledge, skills and experience to mark and assess learners' work across Health and Social Level 2 - 5
  • You will compare your feedback with that generated by our AI tool
  • Provide feedback on the results given by the AI tool, making recommendations for improvement
  • Be integral to the evolution of our marking capability across Care qualifications

Skills and Experience:

  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Level 5 Qualification in Adult Care
  • Teaching Qualification and Assessor/IQA Qualification
  • Confident to give and review feedback
  • In-depth understanding of the apprenticeships/further education sector
  • Proven vocational experience in your sector with demonstrable competence
  • Awareness of GDPR regulations and a commitment to confidentiality
  • A commitment to personal development and promoting innovation in education
  • Proficient in using MS Office and other relevant systems
  • Flexibility and the ability to travel nationally, if required
