AFCStuff is one of the largest independent media accounts following Arsenal Football Club in the world, with over a million followers on X and a strong presence across Instagram and Facebook. We cover the club across match reaction, transfer news, tactics, and opinion, reaching a large and highly engaged fanbase.
We're currently expanding, with a dedicated website to be launched extremely soon and a growing editorial team to support it. We're looking for writers with experience and prior work, who can combine knowledge of the club with the ability to write quickly and clearly, since content often needs to go out within a tight window around matches and breaking news.

About the role:
You'll be writing regularly for an established Arsenal platform, with your work reaching a large and engaged audience.
Both paid and voluntary positions are available. Preference can be indicated during the application process, though the role offered will be determined by the applicant's experience and skillset. This position is well suited to students or those looking to build a career in sports journalism.
Responsibilities:
- Producing regular content on Arsenal FC, whilst potentially covering match reports, transfer news, tactical analysis, and opinion pieces, depending on your preferences and expertise.
- Writing quickly and accurately around matches and breaking news, often to tight turnaround windows.
- Maintaining a consistent output aligned with agreed expectations.

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Arsenal FC, and the media landscape around it.
- Ability to write clearly and quickly under time pressure.
- Proven writing experience, with samples or links where available.
- Reliable and able to commit to consistent output.
