Location: London
Contract: Freelance, approximately 8 weeks
Start: ASAP — ideally w/c 17 August 2026
End date: Approximately mid-October 2026

We’re looking for a Junior Garment Technologist to join the OMNES team on a freelance basis, supporting the development and production of our upcoming collections. This is a great opportunity for a technically minded, organized, and detail-focused garment professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced fashion environment.

The Role

Working closely with our Garment Technologist, designers, buyers, and suppliers, you’ll support garments from initial samples through to production, helping us maintain our standards across fit, quality, and construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with garment fittings, measuring, and quality checks
  • Maintain measurement charts, fit notes, and technical specifications
  • Liaise with factories and suppliers on technical queries and sample comments
  • Review and follow up on garment testing and outstanding test reports
  • Flag testing failures and support wear and wash trials
  • Issue wearer trials and maintain documentation
  • Help maintain block and fabric libraries
  • Support quality control and returns investigations
  • Assist with wider garment technology and production tasks as required

About You

  • Some experience in garment technology, product development, or a similar fashion role
  • Good understanding of garment construction, fit, and manufacturing
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organized and comfortable managing multiple styles and deadlines
  • Confident communicating with suppliers, factories, and internal teams
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Experience with tech packs, garment measurements, and garment testing/test reports is desirable
