Korean Marketplace Specialist
Location: APAC
Experience: Typically 2+ years managing Korean marketplaces (or strong foundational knowledge for junior/freelance track)
Own Korean marketplace operations and help drive e-commerce growth across APAC.
This isn’t a lateral move. We built Loop by going all in from day one. You’ll own our Korean marketplace presence across platforms including Naver Smart Store, Coupang, and Kakao, turning commercial opportunities into measurable growth through smart execution, continuous optimisation, and decisive action. From merchandising and campaign execution to marketplace optimisation and performance analysis, your work will directly shape how we grow in one of Asia’s most dynamic e-commerce markets. If you’ve mastered Korean marketplace operations and you’re ready to challenge the rules that no longer work, this is where you do it.
The role
You step into ownership. You move fast and take responsibility for what you build. You focus on work that matters, not the noise that slows things down. Working closely with our global marketplace team, Korea go-to-market lead, marketplace agencies, account managers, and logistics partners, you’ll turn strategy into execution. You’ll make informed decisions, adapt as priorities evolve, and keep commercial outcomes front and centre.
What You’ll Do
What you’ll do (and what you won’t)
- Own Korean marketplace operations across Naver Smart Store, Coupang, Kakao, and other relevant platforms end-to-end.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns aligned with marketplace and seasonal events.
- Own product listings, merchandising, localised content, and inventory updates to deliver an accurate and compelling customer experience.
- Coordinate marketplace advertising with agencies and account managers.
- Turn marketplace data into actionable insights that improve sales, traffic, and advertising performance.
- Ensure listings meet marketplace requirements while optimising Korean keywords, content, and discoverability.
- Build strong partnerships across internal teams and external marketplace partners to deliver successful marketplace initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve assortment, merchandising, and marketplace growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You won’t

- Strong understanding of the Korean e-commerce ecosystem, consumer behaviour, and marketplace calendar.
- Confidence to work independently while knowing when collaboration delivers better results.

- Experience using marketplace reporting tools such as Coupang WING, Naver Seller Center, and Excel.
- A desire to create meaningful commercial impact, not simply complete tasks.
