Business Director / Marketing Director | London | Senior Leadership Opportunity

I'm working with a highly respected membership-based organisation operating at the heart of the UK healthcare sector.

They're looking for a commercially minded Business Director / Marketing Director to join their senior leadership team and drive long-term revenue growth, membership value and commercial performance.

The Role

This is a strategic leadership position responsible for developing and delivering the organisation's income strategy across membership, commercial partnerships, marketing, trading activities and new revenue streams.

You'll oversee a broad remit spanning:

  • Commercial strategy and revenue growth
  • Marketing and business development
  • Membership operations and customer experience
  • Data, analytics and business intelligence
  • Commercial partnerships and sponsorships
  • New product and service development
  • Sales leadership and commercial operations

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and delivering an organisation-wide commercial and income generation strategy.
  • Driving membership growth, retention and engagement initiatives.
  • Leading marketing, business development, analytics and membership functions.
  • Identifying and launching new revenue-generating products, services and partnerships.
  • Building a robust business intelligence capability to support decision-making and growth.
  • Developing commercial partnerships, sponsorship opportunities and external relationships.
  • Owning commercial performance, forecasting, pricing strategy and budget management.
  • Championing a commercial mindset across the organisation while maintaining a strong member-first focus.

About You

You'll likely be an experienced commercial, marketing or business leader with a track record of driving revenue growth, developing new propositions and leading multidisciplinary teams.

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience from membership organisations, healthcare, professional services, charities, not-for-profits or similarly complex environments.
