An established senior barrister is looking for an experienced, commercially focused freelancer to help grow their barrister practice.
The practice includes work in areas such as Family Law, International Family Law, Financial Remedies, Court of Protection, Appeals and Professional Regulation.
This is not a social-media management role. The objective is to generate high-quality enquiries and professional referrals while strengthening the practice's online visibility, authority and professional reputation. Time should be concentrated where human input adds most value: strategy, judgement, prioritisation, implementation, quality control and accountability.
Main Objectives and focus:
- Improving Google and SEO visibility for commercially important legal searches
- Improving the website's ability to convert visitors into enquiries
- Developing useful professional content
- Measuring which activities generate enquiries and instructions
- Generating suitable Direct/Public Access enquiries – enquiries from members of the public who may be able to instruct a suitably authorised barrister directly without first instructing a solicitor
- Increasing appropriate solicitor referrals and instructions

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
