As Ludek Ltd continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced London-based freelance M&E professional to support our team with technical site surveys and project handover documentation.

About the Role

The role will involve working predominantly on high-end residential projects across London, many incorporating complex mechanical and electrical installations, BMS, lighting controls, fire and security systems, TV/AV and specialist installations such as swimming pools, spas, saunas, and steam rooms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out technical site surveys
  • Identifying equipment, controls, and isolation points
  • Communicating with M&E teams and specialist subcontractors
  • Collecting technical information and structured photographs
  • Following up missing or unclear information
  • Working independently while supporting our documentation team

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with strong practical, site-based M&E experience. Your current or previous background may be within M&E surveying, M&E coordination, commissioning, technical services, building services engineering, or M&E management. We are more interested in your practical knowledge and approach than your current job title.

Details

This is a flexible, self-employed freelance opportunity, initially involving approximately 2 to 5 project assignments per month, with potential for the amount of work to increase.

  • Rate: From £40 per hour, depending on experience
  • Travel: Predominantly London, with occasional UK travel
