About the Role

Assembled Intelligence, an integrated communications and commercialization platform designed to unite specialist capabilities and deliver smarter, faster, purpose-built solutions across the healthcare product lifecycle, is seeking an experienced Freelance MedComms Recruiter to join our team immediately.

This role is ideal for a recruiter who understands the language of science/medical communications and can confidently partner with stakeholders to identify exceptional talent across life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical communications disciplines.

You will lead end-to-end talent acquisition for high-priority, niche client services, scientific, and creative roles, supporting a fast-paced and growing global organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with innovative industry leaders, managing a high volume of technical requisitions and helping build teams that drive meaningful impact across healthcare.

What You Will Do

  • Own the Pipeline: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience from initial outreach to offer stage.
  • Niche Sourcing: Utilise advanced sourcing techniques, professional networks, and industry-specific platforms to identify passive, high-calibre talent.
  • Technical Screening: Review resumes and conduct deep-dive technical screenings to evaluate skills in Medical Communications, Advertising, and Market Access.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner directly with the senior leaders and hiring managers to understand complex hiring requirements and provide regular market insights.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven Experience: At least 3 years of dedicated experience recruiting within the medcomms, life sciences, or biotech sectors (agency or in-house).
  • Technical Fluency: A strong understanding of the medical communications, advertising, and market access environments.
  • Agency Agility: Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced agency environment, juggling multiple active roles without compromising on candidate quality.
  • Tools of the Trade: Expert proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, major job boards, and Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse preferred).
