About the Role
Compare Cosmetic is looking for a confident and reliable freelance mobile content creator to help us capture natural, engaging social content across the UK aesthetics sector.
Compare Cosmetic is a UK platform helping patients discover, compare and book verified aesthetic professionals and clinics. We also support clinics with tools for bookings, patient management and the wider treatment journey.
This is a mobile-first, social content role focused on natural and authentic filming. We are looking for someone who is confident using a good-quality smartphone and clip-on microphone, has a strong eye for people-led content and can help practitioners feel relaxed on camera.
The role will involve travelling to clinics, events and other agreed locations to capture short interviews, educational clips, behind-the-scenes moments and supporting footage. Our team will provide the content direction and handle editing and post-production.
What You'll Do
- Film aesthetic professionals and clinic teams using a smartphone
- Capture short interviews, Q&As and educational clips
- Ask prepared questions and keep conversations flowing naturally
- Help contributors feel comfortable and confident on camera
- Record clinic walkthroughs and behind-the-scenes content
- Capture supporting footage of clinics, practitioners and events
- Check framing, lighting and audio during filming
- Follow a clear brief and shot list
- Organise and transfer footage promptly after each session
- Travel to agreed locations when required

Requirements
We’d love to hear from you if you
- Are confident creating natural, social-first content on a phone
- Understand vertical video for Reels and other digital platforms
- Own or have access to a good-quality smartphone and clip-on microphone
- Are comfortable interviewing professionals
- Can put people at ease and encourage natural responses
- Have a good eye for authentic moments and useful supporting footage
- Are organised, responsive and comfortable travelling between locations
- Can work independently while following a content brief

Early-career creators, social media assistants, journalism or media graduates and experienced freelancers are welcome to apply.
Working Arrangement
This is a paid freelance opportunity offered on a flexible, as-needed basis.
Sessions may include clinic visits, interviews, event coverage or several pieces of content captured during one planned visit. Locations will vary depending on the content required.
The working arrangement and rate will be agreed in advance for each assignment.
