Join a creative project producing engaging vertical YouTube Shorts that blend cartoon vector narrators with realistic or AI-generated environments. You will transform supplied scripts, voiceovers, character assets, and references into polished 45–70 second 2.5D animated videos, following a clear style guide. The work involves layered parallax camera movement, lip-sync, subtle character animation, cutout props, bold word-by-word captions, and sound design. The initial assignment is a paid test Short, with the opportunity for ongoing monthly work if successful.
Deliverables
- Create finished 45–70 second vertical YouTube Shorts (1080x1920 MP4s) using After Effects
- Deliver organized After Effects project files for each Short
- Implement layered parallax camera movement and cutout prop animation
- Animate cartoon narrator characters with lip-sync and subtle movements
- Add bold, word-by-word captions and integrate sound design
- Follow provided scripts, voiceovers, character assets, references, and style guide
- Meet deadlines for initial test Short (5–7 days) and ongoing monthly assignments

Requirements
- Proven portfolio showcasing vertical 2.5D parallax animation work
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of parallax techniques, character animation, and motion design for social media
- Experience with cartoon and realistic/AI-generated visual styles
- Ability to deliver organized project files and meet consistent deadlines
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
