Profiles Creative is looking for a talented Freelance Danish-speaking Copywriter to take the creative lead on localising consumer marketing campaigns for a major FMCG brand. In this full-time contract role, you will work remotely alongside our United Kingdom-based team, translating creative concepts into culturally resonant, high-impact Danish copy. Your focus will be moving beyond direct translation to deliver nuanced transcreation that feels completely natural to a Danish audience while honouring established brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce culturally fluent transcreations and creative marketing copy for consumer-facing campaigns in the Danish market.
- Adapt central campaign assets to ensure brand messaging, tone of voice, and creative briefs are rigorously upheld.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Copy and cross-functional creative teams across multiple channels.
- Localise brand storytelling and advertising assets to guarantee strong cultural relevance and engagement.
- Review, refine, and proofread regional assets to maintain flawless linguistic quality and consistency.

Required Skills & Experience
- Fluent Danish language skills (CEFR C2 or equivalent) with exceptional copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Proven track record in advertising, marketing copywriting, and multi-channel creative campaign development.
- Extensive experience in transcreation, cultural adaptation, and localisation rather than literal translation.
- Prior experience writing for the FMCG, CPG, or consumer goods sectors.
- Strong ability to work within strict brand guidelines, tone of voice frameworks, and creative briefs.

- Background working in creative agencies in partnership with Creative Directors and senior brand teams.
- A portfolio showcasing high-impact consumer product campaigns developed specifically for Danish or Nordic audiences.
