Are you a creative wordsmith who knows how to make global brand messaging resonate authentically with local audiences?
Profiles Creative is seeking talented freelance Native Copywriters specialising in Swedish, Dutch, Norwegian, or Danish to support a high-profile, fast-paced marketing programme through to the end of the year. Working remotely on a contract basis with our United Kingdom-based team, you will craft and localise high-impact consumer marketing campaigns for a globally recognised FMCG brand. Whether delivering full-time support across the Nordics or targeted coverage in the Dutch market, you will ensure every campaign sounds natural, persuasive, and culturally attuned.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver culturally fluent translation and transcreation of marketing, advertising, and campaign copy for your target local market.
- Adapt overarching campaign assets while strictly maintaining the brand's tone of voice, messaging frameworks, and brand guidelines.
- Partner with the Head of Copy and cross-functional creative teams to develop compelling consumer-facing copy across multiple channels.
- Localise brand content to ensure nuanced cultural relevance, consumer appeal, and high engagement.
- Review, refine, and proofread regional assets to ensure consistent messaging and impeccable linguistic quality.

Required Skills & Experience
- Native-level language proficiency in Swedish, Dutch, Norwegian, or Danish, with exceptional mother-tongue writing and editing skills.
- Proven background in marketing copywriting, advertising, and creative campaign writing.
- Demonstrable experience in transcreation, cultural adaptation, and marketing translation rather than direct literal translation.
- Prior experience writing for FMCG, CPG, or consumer goods brands.
- Strong ability to align with established brand guidelines, tone of voice documents, and creative briefs.

- Previous experience working within creative agencies alongside Creative Directors and senior brand copywriters.
- A portfolio showcasing high-profile consumer product campaigns tailored for Nordic or Dutch audiences.
