My client is seeking an experienced, autonomous No. 1 Site Manager to lead and deliver a high-specification £1.5m commercial fit-out across two floors in Central London.

Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.

Role Overview

As the No. 1 on-site, you will take full operational responsibility from site setup through to handover. You will lead sub-contractors, manage daily site logistics in a busy city-centre environment, enforce strict health and safety standards, and ensure the project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to an exceptional standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-Day Operations: Serve as the primary lead on-site, managing all daily activities, trades, and sub-contractors.
  • Programme & Delivery: Drive the short-term and overall project programmes (2 to 4-week look-aheads) to ensure milestones are met.
  • Logistics & City Centre Access: Oversee site setup, deliveries, waste management, and building control access within a live Central London commercial building.
  • Health, Safety & Environment: Maintain rigorous H&S standards, conduct daily inductions, toolbox talks, RAMS reviews, and keep site documentation up to date.
  • Quality Control: Implement strict quality control procedures to ensure defect-free handover.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Conduct regular progress walk-throughs with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, client reps, building management, and design team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
