Freelance Paid Ads Specialist
We're looking for a freelance paid ads specialist to join our team at Knowlton.
About the Role
You'll work with our in-house team to plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns for a mix of B2B and consumer clients. The role can cover everything from building strategy and setting up tracking to day-to-day campaign management, reporting and speaking with clients, across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. The hours can flex up over time if we both want that.
What You'll Do
- Build paid media strategies and plans with our team, from audience and budget through to testing and scaling
- Set up, launch and optimise campaigns on LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
- Look after audiences, exclusions, UTMs, conversion tracking and lead forms, including CRM integrations such as HubSpot
- Check spend and performance regularly, and make clear recommendations on what to change and why
- Talk to clients directly, including joining calls to share paid updates and explain results in plain language
- Write clear performance reports and recommendations for our team to review before they go to clients
- Work alongside our creative and account teams so campaigns, ads and landing pages work together
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
