📸 Freelance Photographer – Paid Contract
Studio 1042 is looking for a freelance photographer to join us on an upcoming documentary and event project taking place across two residential gatherings.
Studio 1042 is a creative marketing agency working with youth-focused organisations, charities and purpose-led brands, producing photography, film, digital and creative content that helps organisations tell their stories.
- Locations:
- 📍 Ilkley: 13–15 October 2026
- 📍 London: 16–17 September 2027
- Fee: Minimum £1,000 for the full project
- Expenses: Travel, accommodation, and food covered separately

The role will involve capturing candid documentary photography throughout the gatherings, including workshops, portraits, group photography, and informal moments, as well as selecting and editing the final images.
- The exact schedule and required hours are currently being finalised, and not all of the dates above will require full-day coverage.
- The final project fee will be agreed once the photography schedule and scope are confirmed and may increase if additional coverage or photography days are required.

Ideally, we're looking for a photographer who can cover both gatherings, although we're open to hearing from people with partial availability.
We're particularly keen to connect with photographers from Global Majority backgrounds and other backgrounds currently underrepresented within the creative industries.
