Role Description
This internship role for a Freelance Photographer is a hybrid position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with some work-from-home flexibility. The photographer will capture high-quality images that reflect Equity House’s brand, projects, and community initiatives, including events, portraits, and lifestyle or documentary-style content.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Planning and executing photo shoots
- Collaborating with creative and marketing teams on visual concepts
- Organizing and delivering edited images to meet project timelines
- Basic post-production work
- Maintaining a consistent visual style
- Preparing content for use across digital platforms and promotional materials
Interns will have the opportunity to contribute creative ideas and support visual storytelling for campaigns and youth-focused programs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in digital photography, including composition, lighting, and camera operation.
- Experience with photo editing and post-production using common software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop or similar tools).
- Ability to plan and execute shoots, including location scouting, shot lists, and coordination with team members or subjects.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and an eye for capturing authentic, engaging moments.
- Reliable access to photography equipment suitable for professional or semi-professional work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Interest in youth empowerment, social impact, or the future of work, earn, and learn initiatives.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup, attending on-site activities in the London Area as needed and working remotely when appropriate.
- Previous portfolio or examples of work demonstrating style, technical ability, and creativity.
