We are expanding our delivery team and are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Freelance Pre-Employment Tutor to deliver engaging Lean Manufacturing and Warehousing training programmes across Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tutor looking for flexible freelance work while making a genuine difference by supporting learners to develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to progress into employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality Lean Manufacturing and Warehousing training programmes and support learner success.
  • Provide learners with valuable employability skills, industry knowledge, and clear progression pathways.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help learners achieve positive outcomes and maintain accurate, compliance-ready documentation.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Submit all required learner work and associated documentation within agreed timescales to meet funding contracts.
  • Effectively manage delivery resources and collaborate proactively with the wider team to meet college expectations and organisational objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and actively engage in opportunities to enhance professional knowledge, skills, and industry expertise.

Requirements of the role

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (AET, CET, DET or equivalent).
  • A strong vocational background in Lean Manufacturing and/or Warehousing, supported by relevant industry qualifications.
  • Experience delivering adult learning, employability, or pre-employment programmes.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • The ability to motivate and engage learners from a range of backgrounds.
  • A full UK driving licence and the willingness to travel throughout Nottingham and surrounding areas.
