Freelance Principal Medical Writer | Medical Affairs | UK & EU | Freelance Contract | Medical Communications Agency | Remote

We’re partnering with an independent healthcare communications agency who are looking for experienced Freelance Medical Writers to join their team and support a diverse portfolio of projects across a range of end-clients.

Key responsibilities of the Freelance Principal Medical Writer | Medical Affairs | UK & EU | Freelance Contract | Medical Communications Agency | Remote

  • Developing and delivering Medical Affairs materials across a range of projects
  • Supporting Advisory Boards, congresses, symposia, and medical events
  • Developing training and educational materials for healthcare professionals and internal teams
  • Working directly with clients and internal stakeholders (client-facing role)
  • Managing multiple projects and deliverables, ensuring high-quality output and delivery against timelines

Ideal Experience & Skills of the Freelance Principal Medical Writer | Medical Affairs | UK & EU | Freelance Contract | Medical Communications Agency | Remote

  • Over 5 years’ experience working in a medical communications agency
  • Experience across the broad scope of Medical Affairs materials
  • Cardiovascular therapy area experience highly desirable
  • Previous client-facing experience is essential
  • Able to work independently and confidently within a fast-paced environment

  • 6-month contract
  • ASAP start, with flexibility for the right person
