THE QUIRKY ARE LOOKING FOR A FREELANCE PROJECT COORDINATOR
The Quirky Community Hub C.I.C. is looking for a warm, organised and proactive person to coordinate Space to Be, our exciting two-year community project across Wirral.
Space to Be brings together community activities, schools, families, volunteers and partner organisations to create inclusive spaces where people can connect, access opportunities and feel empowered.

- Coordinating activities across The Quirky and our satellite locations
- Supporting and developing our Listening Café programme
- Coordinating volunteers
- Building relationships with schools and community partners

Freelance contract: October 2026 – September 2028
Wirral based with flexible working
Funded two-year project
We’re looking for a people person who can make things happen. Experience in community work, education, SEND, volunteering or project coordination would be useful, but we also really value transferable skills and lived experience.
