Freelance Quantity Surveyor - Secure Government Projects | SC or DV Cleared | 2 Month Commission, 2 Days Per Week
Apex Core Limited is looking for a security-cleared freelance Quantity Surveyor for a two-month commission, providing commercial support on a live portfolio of central government projects at two days per week.
The role
Short-term commercial support to our project management team across building services and refurbishment projects on the secure government estate. The focus is tendering and reporting:

- Tender setup - preparing and issuing tender packs, pricing schedules and tender documentation
- Tender analysis - reviewing and levelling returns, producing comparison and recommendation reports
- Commercial reporting - cost reporting and general commercial support to the project team
The detail
- Two-month commission, averaging two days per week - days flexible
- Potential for further work beyond the commission as the portfolio allows
- Freelance / contract through your own limited company, outside IR35
- Day rate: TBC - tell us your expectations when you apply

Essential
- Current SC or DV clearance - must be active and transferable. We're unable to consider anyone awaiting clearance or requiring sponsorship for this role.
- Proven QS experience on construction and/or building services projects
- Strong tender documentation, analysis and reporting background
- Able to work independently and pick things up quickly on a part-time basis
Desirable
- Central government or secure estate experience
- NEC3 / NEC4 contract experience
