Role Description

The Freelance Radiography Educator role is a remote, contract-based position focused on delivering high-quality educational content to radiography and MRI learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering online lessons, workshops, and webinars
  • Developing clear, engaging teaching materials that align with Imaging 360 Academy’s curriculum and standards
  • Providing structured training in radiographic and MRI principles, clinical skills, and safety practices
  • Supporting learners through mentoring, Q&A sessions, and feedback on assignments
  • Collaborating with the academy’s team to refine course content, contribute to simulation-based learning activities, and ensure that educational offerings remain current with clinical guidelines and best practices

Qualifications

  • Strong Lesson Planning and Teaching skills to design and deliver structured, engaging learning sessions.
  • Solid Education and Training skills to support diverse learners and apply effective instructional methods.
  • Excellent Communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and provide constructive feedback.
  • Professional registration or certification in radiography or MRI (or equivalent) and relevant clinical experience in imaging settings.
  • Experience in online or blended learning environments, including familiarity with virtual teaching platforms and digital resources.
  • Ability to work independently as a freelancer, manage schedules and deadlines, and collaborate effectively with the academic team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, CPD activities, and evidence-based practice in medical imaging.
  • Prior experience delivering workshops, webinars, or educational sessions for healthcare professionals is highly beneficial.
