About JP Pilates
JP Pilates is a new Reformer Studio opening in Castlefield in September/October 2026. We are looking for passionate instructors who are excited to grow with us from day one.
With a maximum of 6 people in each class, our aim is to provide high-quality teaching with a personalised experience, giving clients and instructors the opportunity to get to know each other.
We are therefore looking for instructors who:
- Create a welcoming environment and provide engaging and motivating classes which keep clients coming back week after week
- Provide individual feedback to clients throughout the class with hands-on adjustments where necessary
- Put safety first and are attentive to client’s abilities and needs
- Demonstrate exercises clearly and provide modifications to accommodate different abilities and physical limitations/injuries
- Are keen to be part of our new community – we will be hosting regular social events for our clients including coffee mornings, cocktail nights, theatre trips etc, and it would be great if the instructors would like to be part of this too
- Are responsible and happy to open/close on your own when necessary
- Actively seek feedback and are motivated to keep their CPD up to date

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
