Role Description
The Freelance Research Assistant will support Tele-Therapies by conducting structured research on integrative health, respiratory care, and mental health topics to inform program development and educational content. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

The role also involves:
- Verifying sources
- Ensuring that materials are evidence-based and culturally sensitive
- Collaborating with team members to align research outputs with workshop and training needs
This is a contract role with flexible hours, and the position is fully remote, requiring reliable internet access and self-directed time management.
Qualifications
- Applied research skills, including literature review, data gathering, and synthesis of evidence from credible sources.
- Strong written communication abilities for creating clear summaries, briefs, and reports suitable for non-specialist audiences.
- Basic understanding or strong interest in mental health, respiratory health, integrative medicine, or related fields.
- Competence with digital tools such as online databases, document collaboration platforms, and spreadsheet or note-taking software.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote contract setting.
- Ability to work independently, meet agreed deadlines, and communicate proactively with team members.
- Relevant academic background (e.g., psychology, public health, healthcare, social sciences, or related discipline) is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience in academic or market research, or working with health or wellness organizations, is an advantage.
