Through Vinesine Trade, we are developing partnerships with international wineries and helping connect them with the UK wine market and trade.
Role Description
As a Freelance Seasonal Wine Presenter, you will support Vinesine across selected tastings, events, exhibitions, trade presentations and wine producer representation projects.
You will communicate wine knowledge in an engaging and accessible way while professionally representing Vinesine and the producers we work with.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Present wines and wine producers to consumer and trade audiences.
- Deliver engaging wine tastings and presentations.
- Explain grape varieties, regions, production methods and producer stories clearly.
- Represent Vinesine and its producer partners professionally.
- Support wine events, exhibitions and trade activities.
- Research and prepare producer and wine portfolios before presentations.
- Engage confidently with customers, hospitality professionals and wine trade contacts.
- Support event set-up, presentation and guest experience where required.
- Follow Vinesine's event, service and responsible alcohol policies.

This is a freelance, non-permanent and project-based role. Assignments will be offered according to project requirements and may vary in frequency, duration, location and working hours. No minimum level of work or hours is guaranteed.
Qualifications
Essential:
- WSET Level 2 Award in Wines or equivalent qualification.
- Previous hospitality or relevant customer-facing experience.
- Strong knowledge of wines, grape varieties, regions and basic tasting principles.
- Confident public speaking and presentation skills.
- Excellent customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain wine clearly to audiences with different levels of knowledge.
- Professional, reliable and well-organised approach.
- Ability to support commercial objectives through wine recommendations and product storytelling.
- Comfortable working at events, including standing for extended periods and undertaking reasonable light event-related tasks.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to comply with Vinesine's policies and responsible alcohol service requirements.
- Flexibility to work on an ad hoc and project basis.

Desirable:
- WSET Level 3 or higher.
- Experience in wine retail, wine service, wine education, events or tastings.
- Experience presenting wines to groups or trade audiences.
- Experience working with wine producers, wine fairs or trade events.
- Sales or commercial customer-facing experience.
- Additional language skills.
