Freelance Senior Video Editor | Fully Remote | £400-£450 p/d | October start
I'm hiring for a digital creative agency with offices in London and Finland, working with major technology brands. They need a senior freelance editor from October. A month to begin with, but there's more work behind it and they want someone they can keep. Full time ideally, four days works for the right person.
The work
- Documentary-style films and customer stories cut from real footage
- Long-form interviews turned into films that hold together
- Handed storyboards and scripts and expected to work out how the story is best told on screen, not execute it shot for shot
Read this part before you apply. The bar here is craft, not just competence. The team reviewing your work is design-led and they judge on finish: how the cut feels, how it's paced, how it sounds. Dialogue that's been properly mixed. Music that's chosen rather than dropped in. A grade that holds up. If your reel is a collection of corporate films that do the job but don't make anyone sit up, this isn't the one.

What they need
- A real body of work cutting interviews, customer stories and brand documentaries. Not templated, not stock-led
- Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve
- Genuine audio craft. Dialogue, music and mix, done by you
- Comfort recutting one story into multiple lengths and formats for social
- Motion graphics in After Effects, and a feel for how graphics and live action sit together

Strong pluses
- Work for technology clients, or a tech background. A lot of this is making complex information make visual sense
- AWS project experience
- 3D in Cinema 4D or Blender
To be put forward I'll need: your CV, your showreel, and one complete film start to finish, ideally one where you handled the sound as well as the picture. The full piece matters more than the reel here, because a reel of best moments doesn't show whether you can hold a story together for four minutes.
