Graphic Designer - Freelance Short-Term Project

Location: 100% Remote / Home Working (Must permanently reside in UK and hold unrestricted right to work to apply)

Project Fee: £250 Fixed Fee

Contract: Freelance Short-Term Independent Contractor Project

About The Role

This is an excellent freelance opportunity for a creative Graphic Designer who enjoys balancing high-quality editorial layout design with efficient, independent delivery.

As a Freelance Graphic Designer, you will work independently to bring the primary History English National Curriculum to life, translating provided written content into engaging educational materials. You will take complete ownership of a set allocation of 13 deliverables over a fixed 5-week period. You can work flexibly to meet the deadlines and will receive the full fixed fee upon successful completion of the work.

In This Role, You’ll

  • We are currently looking for 1 Freelance Designer to undertake this project. Written content will be provided.
  • Designer Assignment 1: Design 2 PPTs (20-30 slides each), 2 Display Poster Packs (10 pages each), and 9 Activity Sheets (2-5 pages each), including 1x preview per resource and any alternative versions such as Black and White. Total: 13 resources.
  • Execute high-quality graphic and editorial layouts that align with Twinkl’s branding and guidelines.
  • Manage your own schedule and delivery timeline independently to ensure all resources are completed within the 5-week project window.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

We are looking for an independent freelancer who combines a keen eye for detail with a self-motivated, structured approach to meeting project deadlines.

You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Proven editorial layout experience.
  • Strong professional experience using Adobe InDesign.
  • A strong understanding of branding and an ability to strictly follow established brand guidelines.
  • Your own tools and software, including active licenses for Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Suggested:

  • A reliable internet connection.
  • A desktop or laptop with recommended specifications.
