We are looking for an experienced No.1 Fit Out Site Manager to lead a £1M, 3-floor commercial refurbishment in Central London. You will take full operational ownership on site, driving the project from initial strip-out through to high-end delivery and handover.
This is a fast-paced environment requiring strong leadership, rigorous safety standards, and excellent subcontractor management in a congested urban site.
Key Responsibilities

- Programme & Delivery: Drive the project programme, ensuring milestones are met on time, within budget, and to an exceptional quality standard across all 3 floors.
- Health & Safety: Maintain strict H&S compliance, conduct RAMS reviews, site inductions, tool box talks, and keep a clean, safe working environment.
- Logistics Management: Oversee Central London site logistics, deliveries, and access/egress restrictions smoothly.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise directly with project managers, clients, architects, and building management teams.
- Quality Control: Enforce high finishing standards and manage the snagging/handover process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
