Freelance Social Media and Content Creator
We’re looking for a freelance social media and content creator to help us build buzz from the ground up to tell the compelling story about our trailblazing and family-friendly game.
Everest Games is a brand-new London-based board games startup launching later this year. The team dreamed up The Everest Game whilst climbing up to Everest base camp and have infused it with their shared love for climbing, excitement, adventure, and stunning mountain views.
The Everest Game is perfect for playing around a table, at a campsite, or way up a mountain.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, creative role - perfect for someone who loves generating scroll-stopping content and wants to be part of an exciting product launch. From day one, you’ll be working closely with the founders.

Hours: Freelance, approx. 8-10 hours/week, with scope to flex up around launch.
What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and creating content for our social channels (TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
- Growing our social media presence and engagement; approx 3 to 4 posts per week.
- Developing creative campaign ideas to drive launch buzz.
- Capturing and editing photo/video content (including from our product photoshoots).
- Working closely with the founders to bring the brand’s voice to life.
Who we’re looking for:
- Proven experience creating and managing social content, ideally for a brand or product launch.
- Sharp instincts for what performs on TikTok and Instagram and keen to experiment!
- A creative eye for photo/video content.
- Comfortable working independently and proactively in a startup environment.
- Genuine enthusiasm for games, family products, and brand-building from scratch.

No trek to Everest Base Camp is required, but we will want you to take some footage on location, mostly in London.
This is a unique opportunity to help launch a new product and make your creative mark from the very start. You’ll need to thrive in a semi chaotic environment with endless brainstorming ideas that need fine tuning into persuasive posts!
