🎵 Freelance Social Media & Creative Support — Independent Music Artist

I'm looking for someone to help me with my social media and the wider development of my music project.

I'm an independent musician, songwriter, and live performer. I'm writing my own music, working towards releasing new material, building my social media presence, and looking to arrange more live shows.

To start, I'm looking for around 5 hours per month at £15/hour. It's a small commitment initially, but I'm hoping to increase the hours over time if we work well together and the project grows.

I'm deliberately keeping the role quite open. Depending on your skills and what you enjoy, you might help with:

  • Managing and planning social media
  • Coming up with content ideas and ways to grow
  • Editing short-form video/content
  • Posting and scheduling
  • Finding and arranging live performance opportunities
  • Helping develop the live/music side of the project
  • Coming along to some gigs to record content
  • Or something else you think would genuinely help!

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You don't need to be experienced in everything. Maybe you're great at social media, maybe you're creative, maybe you're organized and enjoy the more repetitive tasks, maybe you're interested in getting into artist management or booking shows.

I'm much more interested in finding out what you're good at and what you enjoy doing. I'm looking for someone who will bring their own ideas and tell me what they think is worth doing.

This could suit someone looking for a few extra freelance hours, someone wanting to build experience in social media/music, or someone looking for an additional client alongside other work.

I'm open to the role developing into something bigger over time, including more hours and responsibility if it's a good fit for both of us.

Fully remote. £15/hour initially. Reasonable travel expenses + time will be paid for when attending gigs as part of the role.

If you're interested, send me a message with a little about yourself, what you're good at, and what you think you could bring to the project.

No need for a formal cover letter — I'd rather just hear from you!
