Echo House is a fast-paced creative production company delivering exceptional projects across exhibitions, interiors, events, and live environments. We're looking for an experienced Sprayer to join our talented production team.

Spray painting experience is essential for this role. We are seeking someone with a strong background in professional spraying techniques who can consistently produce high-quality finishes while working to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for spraying, including sanding, filling, and finishing cabinetry, furniture, and fabricated items.
  • Apply a wide range of finishes using various spray techniques and paint systems.
  • Work from drawings, visuals, photographs, and technical specifications.
  • Colour match to approved samples and ensure all work meets the required finish standards.
  • Operate, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot spray equipment, including spray guns and air-assisted systems.
  • Maintain spray booths, mixing areas, and workspaces to a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
  • Communicate effectively with the wider production, fabrication, and preparation teams.
  • Manage workload efficiently to ensure project deadlines are achieved.
  • Monitor stock levels of paints and consumables and report replenishment requirements.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures, COSHH regulations, and company policies.
  • Support Echo House's sustainability initiatives and working practices.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • ✅ Proven professional spray painting experience (essential)
  • ✅ Experience spraying within a joinery, exhibition, set-building, furniture manufacturing, or fabrication environment
  • ✅ Strong understanding of:
    • Water-based paints
    • 1K solvent paints
    • 2K polyurethane paints
    • Lacquers, stains, and specialist finishes
  • ✅ Ability to achieve high-quality finishes on:
    • Wood
    • Metal
    • Plastics
  • ✅ Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
  • ✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ✅ Strong organizational and time management skills
  • ✅ Experience working to deadlines in a busy production environment
  • ✅ Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
