Role Description

In this role, the videographer will support the creation of short-form and long-form video content for social media and digital channels, showcasing properties, neighborhoods, and brand stories. Day-to-day tasks include:

The videographer will collaborate with marketing and social media teams to adapt video content for different platforms, optimize footage for engagement, and maintain visual consistency with brand guidelines. The role also involves:

  • Organizing video files
  • Supporting simple edits
  • Learning best practices in real estate and lifestyle videography under guidance from more experienced team members

Qualifications

  • Strong foundational skills in video production and shooting video, with an eagerness to learn and improve in real-world environments.
  • Practical abilities in camera operation and handling camera equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of lighting for video, including setting up and adjusting lighting for indoor and outdoor scenes.
  • Interest in social media content creation, including vertical video formats, short-form storytelling, and platform-specific trends (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Ability to follow creative direction, work to a brief, and collaborate effectively with marketing and sales teams.
  • Good organizational skills for managing footage, file naming, and backing up content securely.
  • Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working on location in the London Area as well as remotely when required.
  • Previous exposure to video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) is beneficial but not mandatory for a trainee role.
  • Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and an interest in property, architecture, or lifestyle storytelling is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills and familiarity with international audiences are a plus.
