Freelance Trainer – Ongoing Opportunity
Skills Exchange is looking for an experienced freelance trainer to join our charity on an ongoing basis.
Skills Exchange is a charity based in East Kilbride, delivering programmes supporting wellbeing, employability, personal development, life skills and education for young people and adults.
We're looking for a confident and enthusiastic trainer who enjoys working with people, building confidence and helping learners develop new skills.
The Role
- Deliver engaging, learner-focused training sessions
- Work with groups of young people and/or adults
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Adapt your approach to meet different learner needs
- Support learner progress and complete relevant assessment work
- Work alongside the Skills Exchange team to support successful programme delivery

We're looking for someone who
- Has experience delivering training or facilitating groups
- Is confident, approachable and engaging
- Can build positive relationships with learners
- Has experience working in wellbeing, employability, education or a similar setting
- Ideally has experience with accredited learning and assessment
- Is reliable and able to work independently as a freelancer

Location: East Kilbride
Hours: Initially 2 half-days per week
Rate: Dependent on experience and relevant qualifications
