Join a dynamic project focused on producing engaging long-form video content for a wellness-focused YouTube channel. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented video editor who understands the nuances of YouTube storytelling, pacing, and audience retention. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage, audio, screen recordings, and various media assets into polished, high-quality videos that captivate viewers from start to finish. The position is remote and offers the potential for ongoing collaboration on future projects.

Deliverables

  • Edit long-form YouTube videos using provided raw footage, audio, and screen recordings
  • Integrate b-roll, music, sound effects, captions, and simple motion graphics to enhance viewer engagement
  • Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent style and tone
  • Optimize pacing and flow to maximize audience retention without over-editing
  • Prepare final videos for upload, ensuring all technical specifications are met
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and deliver projects within agreed deadlines

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing long-form YouTube content, preferably in the wellness or lifestyle sector
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software
  • Strong understanding of YouTube video structure, pacing, and retention strategies
  • Ability to add captions, b-roll, music, sound effects, and motion graphics as needed
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Reliable time management and commitment to meeting deadlines
