Join an exciting international audiovisual project as a freelance video editor, working on a dynamic coming-of-age comedy web series tailored for a young, digital-savvy audience. This role centers on editing professionally shot footage into engaging, visually compelling short episodes, each designed for maximum impact across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The project emphasizes modern visual aesthetics, energetic dance sequences, and a strong musical component, requiring a creative editor who can bring out the best in fast-paced, youth-oriented content. You will collaborate closely with the production team to ensure each episode aligns with the series’ tone and resonates with viewers on social platforms.
Deliverables
- Edit 24 short-form episodes (2–3 minutes each) for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Integrate music, dance, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and audience engagement
- Ensure consistency in style, pacing, and branding across all episodes
- Collaborate with the production team to incorporate feedback and meet creative objectives
- Prepare final deliverables in required formats and resolutions for each platform

Requirements
- Proven experience editing short-form video content for social media, especially Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling, visual flair, and expertise in music-driven edits
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
- Ability to work with professionally shot footage and adapt to evolving creative direction
- Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual composition
- Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines in a remote, collaborative environment
- Availability for a part-time, contract-based engagement
