Lancaster City Football Club, founded in 1911, is a historic English football club that plays home matches at Giant Axe in Lancaster. Role Description

We are looking for a freelance Videographer based in or around Lancaster, UK. The Videographer will be responsible for planning, filming, and producing high-quality video content that showcases Lancaster City FC matches, training sessions, fan events, and behind-the-scenes activities.   • Setting up and operating cameras and lighting equipment
  • Capturing live action during games
  • Editing footage for use on digital platforms and social media
  • Collaborating with club staff to create promotional videos, highlight reels, and player features aligned with the club’s brand and marketing goals

The Videographer is expected to have their own equipment and ensure all content meets technical and creative standards.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Video Production and Shooting Video to plan, capture, and deliver high-quality footage
  • Skills in Camera Operation and Camera handling to ensure stable, professional visual output
  • Skills in Lighting to set up and adjust lighting for both indoor and outdoor environments
  • Experience with video editing software and post-production workflows
  • Storytelling ability and understanding of sports, particularly football, to create engaging content
  • Ability to work on-site during evenings, weekends, and match days as required
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Relevant education or training in film, media production, or a related field is an asset
