Freelance Videographer Role

This freelance videography role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of healthcare education and commercial projects across Bristol, Gloucestershire, and surrounding areas. The position is ideal for a proactive professional who can independently manage shoots in clinical, educational, and commercial environments. Assignments will include filming clinical demonstrations, lectures, interviews, and promotional content for both NHS and private sector clients. The role requires a strong understanding of video production workflows, attention to confidentiality, and the ability to deliver high-quality, engaging content for online learning and marketing purposes.

Deliverables

  • Film and produce educational demonstrations, lectures, interviews, and promotional videos in healthcare and commercial settings.
  • Plan and execute shoots independently, ensuring all technical and logistical aspects are managed on-site.
  • Capture high-quality video, lighting, and audio using personal professional equipment.
  • Edit footage into polished videos, applying branding, captions, and basic motion graphics as needed.
  • Deliver final content in multiple formats suitable for online learning platforms and marketing campaigns.
  • Organise, manage, and securely store all project files and media assets.
  • Liaise professionally with NHS staff, clinicians, educators, and commercial clients to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in clinical environments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a professional videographer, ideally with exposure to healthcare, education, or clinical environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage all aspects of on-location shoots.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience with colour grading, audio mixing, and delivering content in various formats.
  • Ownership of professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment, as well as an editing suite.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Gloucestershire, Bristol, and nearby areas.
  • Awareness of patient confidentiality, professionalism, and infection prevention requirements is highly desirable.
  • Experience creating content for e-learning, social media, or promotional campaigns is a plus.
