Freelance Videographer & Motion Graphics Designer

Our client, an independent B2B content marketing agency based in London, is seeking a versatile Freelance Videographer & Motion Graphics Designer. Operating on a full-time, rolling contract (outside IR35) with the potential to transition into a permanent role, this position will see you take full ownership of video projects from initial shoot to final delivery. Working across hybrid, studio, and on-location setups, you will collaborate closely with the Creative Director to translate strategic ideas into high-impact visual content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end video production cycle across varied client briefs, handling everything from pre-production planning to post-production and final delivery.
  • Direct and capture high-quality footage on location, within corporate environments, and inside the agency’s dedicated studio using an extensive in-house kit.
  • Assemble, brief, and lead external production crews when projects scale beyond solo shoots.
  • Edit, grade, and animate predominantly short-form video (averaging 90 seconds) alongside occasional long-form pieces reaching up to 10 minutes.
  • Develop custom motion graphics and visual assets from scratch, as well as elevating existing client assets and supplied footage.
  • Partner with the Creative Director to experiment with fresh creative treatments and integrate modern production tools into daily workflows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
