Freelance Videographer
This freelance videographer role is ideal for a creative professional with a passion for producing engaging short-form video content tailored for social media platforms. Based in Slough, you will collaborate closely with a content team to film and edit dynamic reels and videos for ongoing campaigns. Scripts, on-camera talent, and shot lists will be provided, allowing you to focus on capturing high-quality footage and delivering polished edits. The position requires three to five shoots or videos per month, making it a flexible, part-time contract opportunity for someone looking to expand their portfolio in branded social media content.
Deliverables
- Film and deliver at least five minutes of raw footage per shoot for each assigned project
- Edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, including basic to intermediate editing (cuts, captions, text overlays, and music)
- Ensure all final edited files are ready for handoff to the social media manager
- Collaborate with the team to interpret scripts and shot lists, ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Maintain consistent quality and timely delivery for three to five shoots or videos per month

Requirements
- Based in the UK, with the ability to travel to Slough for shoots as required
- Proven experience filming and editing short-form social media content
- Proficiency with camera, lighting, and audio equipment (must provide your own gear)
- Skilled in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
