In this dynamic freelance role, you will be the driving creative force behind our social-first video output. Working closely with our creative team, you will take projects from initial concept through to high-energy shoots and fast-paced post-production. If you live and breathe short-form video, understand current trend dynamics, and know how to shoot for modern aspect ratios, this is your opportunity to bring exciting brand narratives to life across Newcastle and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Production: Plan, light, and shoot high-quality, engaging video content on location in Newcastle, ensuring all footage meets strict platform-specific specs (9:16, 4:5, 16:9).
- Social-First Editing: Cut, sequence, and polish fast-paced video content tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Audio & Motion Enhancements: Integrate trendy audio, sound design, custom kinetic typography, captions, and seamless dynamic transitions into your edits.
- Premium Beauty Experience: Background in working for Premium Beauty Brands shooting product launches and behind the scenes content.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven Portfolio: A strong showreel or portfolio demonstrating exceptional videography and modern, social-first video editing.
- Technical Mastery: High proficiency with professional camera gear, lighting setups, wireless audio equipment, and the Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro and After Effects).
- Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of native social media video features, emerging platform trends, aspect ratios, and digital content best practices.
- Location & Mobility: Based in or easily accessible to Newcastle upon Tyne, with the ability to travel for local shoots.
