Job Description: Freelance Web Designer for Construction and Renovation Business
A construction and renovation business in Belgium is seeking a freelance web designer to develop a modern, professional website that effectively showcases a wide range of services, including interior renovation, demolition, drywall, metal framing, plastering, painting, tiling, roofing, facade work, and general finishing. The website must inspire trust among potential clients and deliver an exceptional mobile experience.

Implementation of fast loading times, basic SEO best practices, Google Maps, social media links, WhatsApp button, GDPR/cookie compliance, and SSL security.

Easy-to-use content management system (WordPress, Webflow, or similar) allowing the client to add projects and photos independently.

Portfolio section to highlight completed projects with before-and-after imagery.

Ongoing support for future updates and improvements may be required.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and developing websites for service-based or construction businesses.
- Proficiency in WordPress, Webflow, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, UX/UI principles, and mobile optimization.
- Ability to implement multi-language support (French and Dutch essential).
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals, GDPR/cookie compliance, and website security best practices.
- Experience integrating Google Maps, social media links, and communication tools (e.g., WhatsApp).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver projects on time.
- Based in Belgium or able to accommodate Central European Time (CET) working hours preferred.
