Freelance Webinar Producer
BBD Perfect Storm is looking for an experienced Freelance Webinar Producer to join the team on a project for a major UK-based financial services client.
This is a quick turn around hands-on production role for someone who is organised, calm under pressure and confident managing speakers, technology, content and stakeholders.
Role Summary:
The Webinar Producer will actively own and produce:
- Pre-webinar: Coordinate speakers, presenters and production requirements, manage the running order and timings, and lead technical checks/rehearsals to ensure everyone is fully prepared.
- During the webinar: Take hands-on responsibility for the live production, ensuring the webinar runs to schedule. Manage speakers, presentations, video, polls and Q&A, cue contributors and content, monitor timings, and provide technical management and troubleshooting where required. Communicate with the team and presenters via private channels and resolve any issues quickly and discreetly.
- Post-webinar: Manage the recording and its distribution, check the final output, coordinate attendance/engagement reporting and follow-up materials, and support the team in identifying opportunities to repurpose the webinar into additional content.

The key requirement is someone who can actively produce and help own all aspects of the webinar, taking responsibility for the detail, live technical management and smooth running of the event from start to finish.
We’re looking for someone who…
- Has solid experience producing and managing live webinars, virtual events or broadcast-style digital experiences.
- Is highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable owning a complex production process.
- Can confidently manage multiple stakeholders, speakers and moving parts.
- Is technically confident and able to troubleshoot problems without creating unnecessary disruption.
- Remains calm and solutions-focused when things don't go to plan.
- Has excellent communication skills and knows when to be hands-on, when to escalate and when to quietly fix something behind the scenes.
- Understands that great webinar production is often about making a complex live experience feel effortless to the audience.

Experience working within an agency environment and with large corporate / financial services clients would be advantageous.
Start date: Mid-September
£350 day rate, outside IR35
