We’re looking for talented, engaging and dependable Freelance Wellness Instructors to join our growing wellness offering at Ardencote Manor.
Whether your specialism is Yoga, Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Breathwork or Sound Healing, we’d love to hear from instructors who are passionate about creating memorable wellness experiences in a beautiful spa and leisure setting.
You may specialise in just one discipline or be qualified across several.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll deliver welcoming, professional and engaging sessions for our spa guests, hotel residents, members and day visitors.
Your Role Will Include
- Planning and delivering safe, high-quality classes within your qualified discipline
- Creating a calm, welcoming and inclusive environment
- Adapting sessions for beginners, mixed abilities and individual needs
- Providing clear demonstrations, guidance and appropriate alternatives
- Carrying out relevant pre-class health and injury checks
- Preparing your studio, equipment or reformer area before sessions
- Ensuring equipment is used safely, cleaned and returned correctly
- Delivering classes promptly and professionally
- Working closely with our Spa, Leisure and Wellness teams
- Following Ardencote Manor’s health & safety and operating procedures

What We’re Looking For
You’ll need to hold a recognised qualification relevant to the discipline(s) you teach, such as Yoga, Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Breathwork or Sound Healing.
You’ll Also Need
- Previous experience delivering group or individual sessions
- A good understanding of safe practice, contraindications and appropriate modifications
- Current public liability and professional indemnity insurance appropriate to your discipline
- Any relevant professional membership, licence or CPD required for your specialism
- The right to work in the UK
- A warm, professional and guest-focused approach
- The confidence to work independently while being part of a wider team
For Reformer Pilates instructors, you must hold an appropriate Reformer Pilates teaching qualification and be confident in the safe setup, adjustment and use of reformer equipment
The freelance arrangement
This is a freelance, self-employed opportunity paying £30 per hour.

Hours are flexible and will be based around our wellness timetable, guest demand and your availability, with opportunities across weekdays, evenings and weekends.
As a freelance instructor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining your own qualifications, insurance, tax and National Insurance arrangements and providing invoices in line with our agreed payment process.
Interviews will be held between October 2026 - December 2026.
